Hours: Full Time, 10 - Month position, 40 hours per weekDescription:Demonstrates a love of reading and embraces the world of information remaining knowledgeable about books, authors, and new literacies.Instructs students in the skills necessary to think critically about information and to communicate new learning in a variety of formats.Collaborates with teachers to design and teach engaging inquiry and meaningful learning experiences that promote a love of reading and lifelong learning.Curates and displays a balanced collection that is representative of diverse points of view promoting literacy, inquiry, diversity, and inclusion.Supervises library paraprofessionals and adult volunteers.Uses and models existing and emerging technologies to support teaching and learning.Serves as a change agent and leader in the integration of information technology for teachers, parents, and students.Is knowledgeable with the Digital Literacy Computer Science and Digital Fluency Learning Standards.
