Position: Behavior Specialist – FBAs & BIPsLocations: Baldwin: Milburn & Shubert SitesStart Date: As Soon As PossibleSchedule: Flexible (12-Month Position)We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team to support student success through functional behavior assessments, behavior intervention planning, and staff training.Key Responsibilities:Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) in accordance with NYS regulations.Develop and write Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to individual student needs.Analyze behavioral data and prepare quarterly reports.Provide ongoing staff training on the implementation of BIPs and best practices in behavior management.Collaborate with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions.Qualifications:NYS Certified Special Education Teacher, BCBA, psychologist or LCSW.MUST have prior experience conducting FBAs, writing BIPs, and training staff.Strong knowledge of NYS regulations related to FBAs, behavior plans and special education.Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.Additional Information:12-month position with a flexible schedule.Role will be split between both our Milburn and Shubert locations.Position begins immediately.Salary based on experience and licensure.If you meet the qualifications and are passionate about creating meaningful behavioral supports, we encourage you to apply today.
