Just Kids Early Childhood Learning Center is a private special education preschool program for students with and without disabilities, ages three to five years. Just Kids supports families in their role as primary educators, caregivers, and decision makers in the delivery of services.Assistant Principal – BaldwinAssist the Principal in leadership, direction, and supervision of the building and all its programs. The Assistant Principal reports directly to the Principal and the Assistant Executive Director. The position includes the duties and responsibilities below and any other functions as assigned by the Principal and the Assistant Executive Director.Qualifications:A master’s degree (minimum): appropriate NYS administrative certificate in Educational AdministrationA minimum of five years’ teaching experience.Such alternative to the above qualifications as Just Kids may find applicable.Special Needs Preschool ExperienceExperience working with students with autism and significant challenging behaviors.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist with leadership for the development, implementation, improvement, and evaluation of the instructional program-ensuring conformance to New York State Learning Standards, Just Kids Mission and Philosophy, OCFS Standards, NYS Special Education Policy and Regulations, Early Intervention Policy and the general policies and procedures of Just Kids Learning Center.Salary: Commensurate with experienceBenefits:Medical Benefits: Eligible 1st of the month following 30 days of full-time employment.Professional DevelopmentJob Type: Full-time, 12 Months
