Our school district is seeking a skilled, dependable, and solutions-oriented professional to manage and support the district’s network and technology infrastructure. This full-time position plays an important role in ensuring reliable, secure, and effective technology services for students, staff, and administration. Civil Service Job code: 03755 - Help program may apply - but may need to sit for a test and be reachable. Key Responsibilities Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot District network infrastructure, including Cisco/Cisco Meraki switches, wireless, routers, firewalls, and related systems Administer servers including windows and VMWare, storage, backups, and disaster recovery systems ? Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows 11 environments ? Manage Google Admin Console and Chromebook management ? Monitor network and system performance and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and infrastructure issues ? Support District cybersecurity, endpoint protection, patching, and security monitoring ? Serve as an escalation point for the district help desk and provide advanced technical support to staff ? Maintain accurate documentation of network infrastructure, system configurations, equipment, and procedures ? Assist with technology projects, upgrades, system implementations, and vendor coordination Minimum Qualifications ? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education, training, certifications, and professional experience ? Three (3) to five (5) years of professional experience in network and systems administration preferred ? Experience with network administration, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and cybersecurity ? K-12 school district experience preferred Skills & Attributes - Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to explain technical information to users with varying levels of technical experience - Commitment to cybersecurity, system reliability, and data protection - Ability to work collaboratively with staff, vendors, and technology support personnel - Willingness to participate in occasional evening, weekend, or emergency technology support
