Early Childhood Social Worker - Fee for Service Job SummaryChild and parent counseling for both program and related service for preschool children 3-5 years old with diverse educational disabilities. Key Responsibilities and Expectations:-Provide in person services to children with special needs ages 3-5 and their families (counseling, parent counseling.)-Provide psychoeducation and support to families to help them understand their child’s educational disability and equip them with the tools necessary to support their child’s educational and/or behavioral progress-Maintain appropriate mandated documentation regarding student services and subsequent needs in a thorough and confidential manner. (CPSE portal)-Write quarterly and annual review reportsSkills, Education and Experience- A master's degree in social work (M.S.W)- Must hold up-to-date NYS credentials as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)- Knowledge and interest in child development as well as a wide array of parenting strategies- A passion for working with young children and their families who possess a diverse range of needs and abilities.- Interest in professional development, clinical consultation and collaboration with other social worker(s) within the program-Spanish speaker a plusJob Type: Part-timePay: $58.00 - $62.00 per hour
