JOHNSON CITY CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT ANTICIPATED VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER DATE: April 17, 2026 EFFECTIVE DATE OF ASSIGNMENT: September 1, 2026 LOCATION: Elementary School STARTING SALARY: Current Entry Salary (Higher rates available with prior experience) Bachelors: $59,136 Masters: $63,352 REQUIRED CERTIFICATION: Candidates with a valid NYS Certification in Physical Education strongly preferred. Candidates with other valid and relevant NYS Certifications will be considered. Candidates who have just completed degrees and are finalizing certification are welcome to apply.
