REQUIRED CERTIFICATION: Valid NYS Certification in School Social Worker required. LMSW required; LCSW preferred 2 years post MSW experience required Major Responsibilities:The Community Schools social worker is an integral part of a team who partners with a multitude of community agencies to provide resources and learning opportunities, both in our buildings and throughout the village for our students and their families.? Provide family outreach and support Identify and coordinate community resources and partnerships leading to academic success and social emotional well-being of all students? Coordinate and attend family engagement events throughout the year? Provide individual and small group interventions to at- risk students Identify, assess and intervene with known barriers to attendance, behavior and basic needs using data? Liaison with outside agencies? Participate on interdisciplinary teams at the Elementary Building? Provide support to district initiatives?
