Island Trees School District, Nassau County, is seeking an outstanding candidates to serve our students and school community as a 6th grade leave replacement teacher at Island Trees Memorial Middle School. Position Grade 6 Expected Length of Leave: 11/4/24-1/30/25Required Certification: K-6 Candidates should possess a strong math and literacy background, a strong knowledge of Next Generation Learning Standards, and be certified to teach K-6. Candidates should have an appreciation for the specific needs of early literacy learners, and an instructional toolkit that will foster critical thinking, cross-curricular experiences, and opportunities for students to grow their skills and knowledge.
