Full Time Position Starting July 2025Responsibilities:Safely operate a school bus, ensuring the safe transport of students to and from school and events.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.Assist children in boarding and disembarking the bus, providing support as needed.Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a clean driving record.Manage student behavior on the bus to ensure a safe and respectful environment.Benefits include: health insurance, paid time off, and membership in the NYS Employees' Retirement SystemPosition is contingent on approval from the Nassau County Civil Service CommissionMust have NYS CDL, Class B or C with appropriate passenger endorsement
