Bus DispatcherNassau County Civil Service Position Full-time Position7:00 AM - 3:00 PM(Occasional Overtime) Statement of Duties:Coordinates and implements school bus scheduling, including departures, stops, and arrivals; performs related duties as required. Checks drivers licenses periodically and follows up on all required physical examinations of drivers. Qualifications:Minimum two years of satisfactory bus driving/or motor vehicle dispatching experience, preparing time schedules and routes for pupil transportation. Knowledge of rules, regulations and policies relative to transportation Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, parents and school staff members.
