Full-time, 12-month, probationary appointment. In partnership with District and Building administrators, the Director of Special Projects will provide key leadership in multiple school- and District-level initiatives and responsibilities. Duties: District-wide oversight and facilitation/implementation of the Section 504 process Part-time Administrative support at Main Street School (4/5 building) Coordinate District-wide data use by maintaining the data warehouse, coordinating data collection, performing analysis and collaborating with staff to effectuate change Observe certified faculty per APPR Others as assigned by District administration The successful candidate will possess the following: At least five years of teaching and/or administrative experience Outstanding organizational, verbal and written communication skills Proven ability in the development and implementation of instructional programs Dedication to supporting the growth of a welcoming school environment that embraces diversity, equity and inclusion. Strong knowledge of data-driven strategies to support student learning Experience in the implementation of RTI/MTSS and 504 processes Strong desire to grow professionally and a commitment to continuous improvement Experience in the evaluation and development of staffQUALIFICATIONS: NYS SBL / SDL Certification
