Anticipated Openings for the 2025 - 2026 School Year:Grade 2 Special Education Co-Teacher - Long Term SubstituteGrade 4 Special Education Co-Teacher - Long Term SubstituteMust hold a valid NYS Certification - Student with DisabilitiesDesired Qualifications:Deliver daily instruction in all core subjects, including literacy, mathematics, science, and social studiesPlan and implement engaging lessons aligned with district and state standardsProvide targeted literacy instruction focused on reading fluency, comprehension, writing, and vocabulary developmentUse a variety of math strategies and tools to promote conceptual understanding and problem-solving skillsDifferentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including students with IEPs, 504 Plans, ELLs, and high-achieving studentsCreate and maintain a supportive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environmentUse formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and inform instructionCollaborate with grade-level colleagues and support staff to ensure instructional consistency and student successCommunicate regularly with families and school staff to support student learning and behaviorMaintain accurate records, including attendance and assessment dataParticipate in grade-level planning meetings and other required school dutiesSupport at-risk learners through targeted interventions and demonstrate knowledge of the MTSS framework, including progress monitoring and data-based decision-makingApplications will be accepted through OLAS only.
