ANTICIPATED OPENING 2025 – 2026:Full-Time Probationary Science Teacher SecondaryThe Islip Union Free School District seeks an educator who is personable, compassionate, decisive, and has a growth mindset. The successful candidate will be student-centered, of high character, and believe all students can achieve at high levels. The successful candidate will currently hold the required certification listed below, have experience working as a full-time teacher or a leave replacement in a high school or middle school, and meet the desired qualifications outlined. Certification: New York State Department of Education Certification in Earth Science, grades 7-12. A second certification in Biology, grades 7-12 is preferred.
