The Hoosick Falls Central School District is seeking a dynamic, full-time Middle School Counselor for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. This is a full time, probationary tenure track position, that is 10 months with 20 additional summer work days. As a Middle School Counselor, you will support the academic, emotional, and social development of students in grades 5-8. Your role involves providing individual and group counseling, assisting with academic planning, and fostering a positive school environment. You'll work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student needs, implement intervention strategies, and promote personal growth. Key responsibilities include developing and delivering educational programs, managing conflict resolution, and supporting students through transitions and challenges.
