We are seeking a dedicated Biology Substitute Teacher (Grades 9–12) who can deliver high-quality instruction, differentiate for all learners, and foster both academic and personal growth in our students.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Delivering engaging Biology instruction aligned with the existing curriculum and lesson plans.Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs, abilities, and learning styles of students.Managing classroom routines and ensuring a safe, positive, and respectful learning environment.Supporting students in their academic, social, and emotional development.Maintaining high professional standards and clear communication with school staff.Qualifications:New York State Education Department Certification in Biology 7–12 (required).Effective classroom management skills and a passion for working with high school students.Excellent communication, instructional, and classroom management skillsExperience teaching high school students preferredHarborfields is a community-focused district known for academic excellence, innovation, and a supportive staff culture.
