We are seeking a Food Service Worker to become an integral part of our team! You will take orders and serve students and faculty in the school cafeterias. Responsibilities:Serve food and beverages to students and staffExplain to students about menu itemsClean and prepare work station areasGreet and make all students and staff feel welcome in the cafeteriaRespond to inquiries and requests in a timely fashionPerform other preparation duties as assignedUse the register to complete lunch sales and take paymentsQualifications:Previous experience in customer service, food service, or other related fieldsAbility to build rapport with students and staff.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsVarious shifts are available. Diverse and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. New York State Education Department Fingerprint Clearance required
