The Harpursville Central School District is seeking an Agriculture Education teacher for a probationary tenure-track position. We are seeking an individual that wants to join a team where PLCs (Professional Learning Communities) and student-centered, engaging lessons are our focus. The district has prioritized the use of assessments and data acquired to frame our discussions and decisions. Each individual child’s specific strengths and needs from an academic and emotional standpoint drive our choices around how to ensure each student is successful. The Harpursville district is approximately 15 miles northeast of Binghamton. We are a small, rural school that has strong community involvement and parent engagement. There are approximately 650 students in the district. We are a remote district where the opportunities afforded to both students and staff are impressive. We will be accepting rolling applications and conducting ongoing interviews until the position is filled.
