The Hoosic Valley Central School District is accepting applications for a full-time, probationary School Social Worker position. Certification of New York State School Social Worker is required, and Licensed Clinical Social Worker is preferred. The successful candidate will: Provide IEP mandated counseling services. Progress monitoring responsibilities. Medicaid billing as appropriate. Provide community resources to parents/guardians as needed. Coordinate and/or collaborate with a range of individuals/agencies to promote and provide comprehensive services to students and families.Lead team in developing functional behavioral assessments and behavior intervention plans.Provide crisis assessment/support as needed.Participate in building or program activities and meetings as appropriate to support, working collaboratively with building and district level colleagues and administration.
