The Hoosic Valley Central School District is seeking an educational leader for its K–6 Elementary School. Minimum Qualifications:NYS certification as a District Level Administrator (SDA/SDL) or Building Level Administrator (SBL)A minimum of five years of NYS teaching experience, as well as administrative experience preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust possess knowledge of best instructional practices, the NYS Learning Standards, data-driven instruction and APPRTeam development and leadership skillsOverall Responsibility: To provide effective leadership for the Elementary School’s instructional program and supervise those activities which contribute to the success of Hoosic Valley’s overall educational program.Essential Job Functions:Supervise Instructional and Staff DevelopmentPersonnel selection and assignmentsPersonnel EvaluationsCurriculum Development, Supervision and EvaluationEnsure that student and teacher schedules are developed which optimally utilize available resources (creating a master schedule).Establishing Effective CommunicationsCommunity RelationsBuilding Management A probationary position will be offered with an excellent benefit package.Salary: Commensurate with Experience
