Assistant Superintendent of Management:Major Responsibilities: Responsible for providing leadership for all business and financial affairs of the Homer Central School District. Responsible for all financial and budgeting activities, accounting and reporting, purchasing and supply management. Responsible for management of Buildings and Grounds, management of Transportation, management of Food Service and management of Business Office personnel. The successful candidate will have: The ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to implement sound business practices in support of the academic achievement of all students. A successful leader in the areas of school finance and business office procedures, budget development and management, transportation, facilities, food service and safety and health. In-depth knowledge and experience with long range financial planning and innovative thinking with regard to shared services among school districts. Ability to work cooperatively with a dynamic team of employees to ensure outstanding program opportunities for our students and the community.
