Hannibal High School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our exceptional team of educators. The ideal candidate will hold one or more valid New York State certifications in the sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Physics, and/or General Science) and demonstrate a passion for student learning and academic excellence.Responsibilities:Deliver engaging and rigorous science instruction aligned with NYS learning standards.Design and facilitate meaningful laboratory experiences that reinforce scientific concepts.Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes inquiry, collaboration, and a love of science.Collaborate with colleagues to ensure instructional alignment and share best practices.Participate actively in department and school-wide initiatives to support student success.Qualifications:New York State certification in one or more areas of science (required).Demonstrated ability to connect with and inspire high school learners.Strong classroom management and organizational skills.Commitment to professional growth and collaboration.Why Join Us?Hannibal High School is proud of its strong community spirit and commitment to student-centered learning.
