2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR VACANCIES Internal Candidates Only POSITION: (2) Districtwide Mathematics Staff Developers QUALIFICATIONS: Valid New York State Teacher certification REQUIREMENTS: Must have a reference letter from an administrator LOCATION: Districtwide JOB GOALS: To provide instructional leadership, coaching, and professional learning for educators to shift student achievement in mathematics. The Staff Developer will support effective teaching practices, strengthen numeracy and conceptual understanding, and promote equitable access to high-quality mathematics instruction for all students. Focusing on Academic Interventions for Grades K-8 Providing professional learning for math content and pedagogy for staff throughout the school year Providing ongoing coaching and support to implement best practices in math education Creating model lessons that demonstrate scaffolding and interventions Sharing best practices for improving numeracy and conceptual understanding Analyzing data and creating reports for reflection and action Providing resources and guidance to help parents support their children in learning math Facilitating the use of technology and digital tools in math instruction Assisting with the administration and processing of districtwide assessments Manage and update the Math department webpage and related District communications Must be able to work 20 hours a month outside of the contractual day Coordinate, implement and monitor Math department programs and initiatives COMPENSATION: Service Assignment I CLOSING DATE: July 2, 2026 Internal Candidates Only
