McNeil School (1) Rhodes Academy (1) Barack Obama School (1) David Paterson School (1) Jackson School Qualification: Valid New York State Teacher Certification Job Duties: The Instructional Technology Coach provides school-based support to enhance teaching and learning through the effective integration of technology and reports directly to the Director of Instructional Technology. The coach serves as the liaison between the Instructional Technology Department and the assigned school, supporting communication, implementation of district initiatives, and alignment with instructional goals. Responsibilities include delivering professional development through workshops, turnkey training, and one-on-one coaching; assisting staff with instructional platforms, student information systems, data reporting tools, and digital communication systems; developing tutorials and resources for staff, students, and families; maintaining and updating the school website to ensure accurate and accessible information; and organizing and conducting parent workshops focused on instructional technology. The coach is also expected to promote best practices in digital instruction and continuously explore emerging technologies to support student engagement and achievement. Compensation: Service Assignment II C oaches will be required to submit monthly logs to reflect 10 hours worked monthly that identify activities performed beyond the regular workday.
