2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR VACANCIESMulti-Tiered System of SupportsPOSITIONS: (2) MTSS Academic Intervention Coach Monitors INTERNAL CANDIDATES ONLYOBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION: Support the implementation of MTSS programming, assessments,and processes to be used by school-wide intervention teams in the implementation of Tier 2 and 3 readingand math interventions of identified students. The position is district-based and reports to the Director of MTSS.?QUALIFICATIONS:Master’s degree in education, special education, literacy, mathematics, or a related field.Valid NYS Teaching Certification (e.g., Literacy, Special Education, or General Education).Minimum of 5 years of teaching or intervention experience, with demonstrated success supporting struggling learners.Deep understanding of MTSS frameworks, data-driven instruction, and academic intervention strategies.Experience with progress monitoring tools (e.g., AIMSWeb Plus, Star CBM) and data analysis.Strong facilitation and coaching skills with the ability to lead professional learning for adult learners.Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement.Knowledge of NYS learning standards and assessments.Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Coach school staff on MTSS procedures, academic interventions, and progress monitoring.Provide training and ongoing support for effective implementation of Tier 2 and Tier 3 reading and math interventions.Monitor intervention fidelity and student caseloads at Tier 2 and Tier 3 levels.Assist schools in using screening, diagnostic, and progress monitoring tools (e.g., Star CBM, AIMSWeb Plus) to inform intervention planning.Track and report student achievement data (e.g., i-Ready, NWEA, NYS Assessments) to evaluate intervention effectiveness.Collaborate with teachers to design and adjust small group instruction for Tier 2 students.Develop materials and facilitate professional development based on school-specific needs.Participate in MTSS and pre-referral meetings to support data collection and intervention planning.Support the districtwide implementation and evaluation of academic intervention tools.
