Part Time Family Therapist position at Harmony Heights School. Work remotely and in person. Flexible days and evenings, approximately 12 hours weekly. Our students are referred to Harmony Heights through their local school districts. Students are dealing with depression, severe anxiety, mood disorders, and past trauma. Students come to us with emotional, educational and social challenges that cannot be adequately addressed in their home school district. The Family Therapist works with a team of clinicians to initiate and involve families and students in family treatment with the goal of helping families improve communication, solve family problems, handle unusual situations and create a positive home environment. Candidates work under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services. The Family Therapist provides parent support groups, sibling groups and other opportunities to educate parents on current issues and concerns that impact adolescent development. Candidates are responsible for documentation of sessions, reaching out to new families, and scheduling session times and days as needed. This position follows a school calendar for 10 months, and a 6 week summer school schedule. NO HOLIDAYS. Excellent working conditions, team collaboration, and supervision.
