Harmony Heights High School has an immediate opening for a full time Teacher Assistant. Harmony Heights is a state approved special education school for girls grades 8 through 12. We provide a safe, positive, nurturing learning environment for students who have not been successful in their home school district. Students have IEP's and struggle with depression, anxiety and past trauma. School calendar 10 month program with a 6 week summer school program. Mon-Fri 8:30-3:30 p.m. except Tues until 4:30 p.m. The candidate will work in a classroom of 12:1:1 and assist students and the teacher as needed. The candidate must be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Experience working with students in a school setting a plus.
