The James I. O'Neill High School is seeking a NYS teacher certified in Special Education (Grades 7-12) for the 2025-2026 school year who aligns with our vision of providing our students, educators and the communities we serve with the global knowledge, cultural understanding and skills needed to compete in the global community.An ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate proficiency in their content area with using technology in the classroom, have enthusiasm and strong interpersonal skills; be a collaborative team player willing to work with a wide range of students, families, and faculty and staff. Requirements:Candidates must hold NYS Certification in Special Education;Dually certified in Special Education and Science is a plus but not required;Have NYSED fingerprint clearance.
