We are seeking a New York State Certified Social Worker, for our elementary schools, to begin August 28, 2025. The successful candidate will:Provide mandated counseling services and individualized support as outlined in students' IEPs or 504 plans.Facilitate social skills groups, conflict resolution sessions, and restorative practices to promote positive peer interactions.Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and related service providers to integrate social-emotional learning into the school environment.Build trusting, culturally responsive relationships with students and their families to strengthen home-school connections.Serve as a resource and support for school staff in understanding child development, behavioral concerns, and mental health.Participate in MTSS/RTI teams to contribute to data-driven decision-making and early intervention strategies.Provide crisis intervention and support during times of student or school-wide need.Maintain clear, professional communication with families, staff, and community agencies.Work flexibly across multiple buildings, demonstrating adaptability and strong organizational skills in managing a varied caseload.Foster an environment of inclusivity and belonging for all students, with a strong commitment to equity and support for a diverse population.Starting Salary: Step 1D (Master’s) $70,918Interested candidates must apply through OLAS AND complete the application on the HHH District website at: https://www.hhh.k12.ny.us/ > District > Career Opportunities.
