The Herkimer Central School District is accepting applications for a certified School Psychologist. NYS School Psychologist certification required. The School Psychologist will:-Be an active member of the CPSE and K-12 CSE Committee-Conduct initial psychological evaluations and re-evaluations to determine eligibility for new services and/or the continuation of services -Assist teachers and administrators as necessary with writing IEPS, progress monitoring and developing goals based on PLEPs -Make recommendations to teachers and other instructional staff for utilizing research-based strategies/interventions to increase the likelihood of student success with meeting IEP goals-Make recommendations to the CSE for declassification based on the results of an updated psychological evaluation and student observation -Complete Functional Behavior Assessments and work with school administrators and teachers to develop student behavior intervention plans as needed Interested candidates should apply on-line ~ include a letter of interest and a resume directed to: Mrs. Kathleen Carney, Superintendent, 801 W.
