The Haldane Central School District is seeking qualified applicants for an Elementary Teacher leave replacement beginning on or about February 7, 2024 and continuing for 4-6 weeks. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to creating a supportive learning environment and school culture, knowledge of best practices pertaining to Elementary instruction including literacy instruction (phonics and phonemic awareness), math progressions, and incorporating inquiry and project based approaches into the science and social studies curriculum. Primary curricular resources include the Teachers College Units of study for reading, writing, and phonics, Eureka Math, Sci 21, and PNW BOCES social studies materials. The Haldane Central School District is a close-knit school community located in Cold Spring, NY. The District serves approximately 800 students on one K-12 campus. The Director of Athletics, Physical Education, Health and Dean of Students reports to the Superintendent of Schools. A competitive salary will be offered that is commensurate with experience.
