The Haldane Central School District is accepting applications for a full-time probationary New York State Certified Middle School Science Teacher (Grade 7). Valid Science Grades 7-12 certification required; additional Science certifications/extensions preferred. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to creating a supportive learning environment and school culture, knowledge of best practices pertaining to science instruction in a middle school setting, experience designing and implementing NYS Next Generation Science Standards and a strong desire to grow professionally. Additional Science certification preferred but not required.Haldane is a small, close-knit school community whose campus is nestled atop the village of Cold Spring. The campus environment, coupled with small class sizes, creates a strong sense of connection among Haldane’s faculty, staff, students, their families, and the surrounding community.
