Position: Part-time TV Studio Teaching Assistant Location: South Middle School – GNPS/TV75 Hours: M – F, 7:30 am – 12:30 pm, 5 hours/day Effective: 2026-27 School Year Ten-month position, subject to annual reappointment Duties: Work closely with and assist Director of Educational Television. Assist with supervision of student production, including occasional evening productions (extra compensation). Assist with film and TV media classes. Assist with live daily morning news broadcast. Troubleshoot tv studio issues. Film and edit material for GNPS/TV district channels and website. Requirements: Applicant MUST be NYS teacher or teaching assistant certified. Minimum of 60 college credits is preferred. Field and studio video production experience required. Proficiency with the following software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Microsoft PowerPoint and Photoshop. TV news experience is a plus.
