The district seeks interested and qualified candidates for a position in the GNS HS boys basketball program.Stipend is per contract and based on level of assignment.QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:· New York Certified Teacher/Coach (or ability to obtain prior to season)· NYSED approved CPR/AED and First Aid Certification. (or ability to obtain prior to season)· NYSED approved Fingerprint Clearance. (or ability to obtain prior to season)· Concussion Management Certification (NFHS or CDC) (or ability to obtain prior to season)· Extensive Knowledge of sport, playing experience, High School, College, other.· Demonstrable knowledge and ability concerning health, safety, and training techniques for sport.· Demonstrable knowledge and ability to establish high standards of student conduct in and around facilities (i.e., locker room, buses, etc.)· Demonstrable knowledge and ability to work effectively with parents, students, and staff in a manner consistent with established philosophy and goals of the district.· Availability for practices and games as scheduled by the school and Section.And any other reasonable duties/tasks as determined by the district supervisors/administratorsPlease reply to the SHS Bldg AD/PE Chair with a cover letter and resume.
