Duties DescriptionSupervise and evaluate the education staff of either a major part of an extensive education program or an entire smaller education program.Plan curricula, approve instructional materials and supervise preparation and use of daily lesson plans.Make classroom supervisory visits, integrate the education program with other activities and maintain records of student progress.Participate in staff meetings, interview new clients in order to secure information relative to educational background and aptitude, schedule classes and supervise teacher training.Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.Minimum QualificationsTransfer: One year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service in this title or in a title eligible for 70.1 transfer.OROpen to the Public: This title is part of the New York Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement Statewide Program (NY HELPS).
