Germantown - We are seeking a Library Media Specialist to join our staff. Germantown Central School District pays very competitive salaries with excellent benefits. Certified teachers willing to seek their certification in Library Media would be considered. The District is willing to assist with the certifications as per contract.Candidate will be expected to:-Design a Library Media Program Pre-K - 12 that supports digital literacy instruction, instructional technologies, and research practices-Support the literacy priorities of our school community- Collaborate with classroom teachers to instill a love of reading in students-Circulate, purchase and maintain library resources-Provide both a academic and behavioral support in the classroom using a multi-tiered approach-Communicate with students, families, and school staff on students progress-Create pathways for students to be career and community aware, promoting a strong sense of civic mindness- Utilize Google Classroom, Google Suite, and other instructional technologies within instruction
