The Goshen Central School District is seeking a qualified and experienced educator to fill a probationary High School Principal position for the 2022-23 school year. The position is available December 1, 2022 or as soon as practicable.NYS SBL or SAS certification required.Performance responsibilities include and are not limited to:Evaluate all existing and prospective texts and materials; make recommendations to the Assistant Superintendent for the inclusion or rejection of these texts and materials as part of the high school program. Implement all aspects of the Annual Professional Performance Review and supervise the evaluation process for all staff members.Provide statistics, records, reports, and research as may be required by the Superintendent and other central office administrators.Provide statistics, records, reports and research as may be required at the local, State and Federal levels.Responsible for accurate accounting and following district regulations and procedures, of all funds handled in connection with the high school's programs, which includes preparing and submitting the building's budget, budgetary requests, and monitoring the expenditures of funds.Attend special events held to recognize student achievement, as well as school-sponsored activities, functions, and athletic events.Analyze assessment data in order to update curriculum and address student needs in coordination with the Assistant Superintendent.Other tasks and assignments as prescribed by the Superintendent of Schools.
