Greenburgh-North Castle Union Free School DistrictGreenburgh Academy is seeking a Speech Pathologist to work with students who present significant academic and behavioral challenges. The 6 week position is for the upcoming Summer session (July 8th to August 16th, 2024). This position has the potential to transition into a full-time, 10-month contract for the 2024-2025 academic year. Summer session pay rate: 7,654.50 for the full 6 weeks. Responsibilities and Qualifications:Provide appropriate mandated speech-language services to middle and high school students with special needsWork with students exhibiting a full range of communication disorders, including those involving language, social communication, articulation, fluency, and voice/resonanceEstablish goals, develop lesson plans, and report on progress throughout the school yearMaintain session notes and provide progress notes/goals for IEP updatesConfer/collaborate with parents/guardians, teachers, other service providers, and administrators to resolve student behavioral and academic problemsProvide in-class support and carry-over as requiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary teamCertifications:NYS SLP License (Required)Compensation: Commensurate with experience as per contractGreenburgh-North Castle Union Free School District
