Job Description:The Principal will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and monitoring of the school (in compliance with NYSED) and establishing a clear vision for achieving program excellence.The Principal will supervise the delivery of curriculum aligned with NYS Next Generation Learning Standards and Individual Education Plan (IEP) mandates. The Principal will demonstrate strong leadership and student management skills, as well as, knowledge of evidenced-based special education and social-emotional practices. Qualifications: The successful candidate must have experience as a Principal and must have experience with a special education population. One of the following certifications are required: New York State School Administrator and Supervisor (SAS) Certificate or New York State School District Administrator (SDA) Certificate.
