The Principal will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and monitoring of the school (incompliance with NYSED) and establishing a clear vision for achieving program excellence.The Principal will supervise the delivery of curriculum aligned with NYS Next GenerationLearning Standards and Individual Education Plan (IEP) mandates. The Principal willdemonstrate strong leadership and student management skills, as well as, knowledge ofevidenced-based special education and social-emotional practices. Qualifications: Thesuccessful candidate must have experience as a Principal and must have experience with aspecial education population. One of the following certifications are required: New York StateSchool Administrator and Supervisor (SAS) Certificate or New York State School DistrictAdministrator (SDA) Certificate or New York State School Building Leader (SBL) Certificateor New York State School District Leader (SDL) Certificate.
