The Galway Central School District is seeking an educational leader and chief administrator of the Joseph Henry Elementary School. Principal candidates should hold an SBL or SDL certification and have leadership experience working in an Elementary school. The principal is responsible for implementing and managing the policies, regulations, and procedures of the Board of Education to ensure that all students are supervised in a safe, child-centered, equitable learning environment that meets and exceeds the State Core Curriculum Content Standards. This leader must maintain a positive and welcoming school climate while working collaboratively to lead and nurture all members of the school staff. Candidates should strive to communicate effectively with student’s families and members of the community. The Galway school community is looking for an inspiring leader that exhibits honesty and integrity. Start Date: 8/1/2022Salary Range: $85,000-$95,000
