Job Description: Guide students toward understanding Disciplinary Core Ideas through the use of Science and Engineering Practices. Qualifications: New York State Certifications in Biology, General Sciences (7-12), and Earth Science Fingerprinting clearance required Essential Duties (include, but are not limited to): Deep understanding of the NYS P-12 Science Learning Standards Meet and teach assigned classes and caseload Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and supports all students Maintain accurate and complete records to track the progress of individual students Communicate with parents regarding the progress of individual students Use assessment tools to guide instruction Strive by instruction and action to implement the district’s philosophy of education, instructional goals and objectives Complete other duties as assigned Location : Middle School & High School Effective : 2026-2027 School Year Application Instructions: Qualified candidates should apply via OLAS with a resume and letter of interest to Andrew DiNapoli, before the deadline.
