Job Description: Evaluate and make recommendations regarding special services and programs to provide the best possible learning climate for children. To enable students to derive the fullest possible educational experience from school by promoting their sense of self. Qualifications: NYS Certification as a School Psychologist Medicaid Reimbursable License, a plus Bilingual, a plus Fingerprint clearance Essential Duties (include, but are not limited to): Conduct psychological, educational, and social-emotional assessments Implement crisis intervention techniques as a Crisis Team Member Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) Create and implement Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) Chairing Instructional Support Team (IST), Subcommittee, CSE, & 504 Meetings Counseling individual and group sessions Ensuring effective implementation of RtI and pre-referral interventions Collaboration and consultation with parents, teachers, and outside resources Other duties as assigned Effective : 2026-2027 School Year Application Instructions: Qualified candidates should apply via OLAS with a resume and letter of interest to Andrew DiNapoli, before the deadline.
