Qualifications:Must have successfully completed the Food Service Manager Training Course through Nassau County Board of Health Experience in large scale cooking preferred, as the manager should be prepared to fill in at any time Must have full fingerprinting clearance Essential Duties (include, but are not limited to):Supervise food service team and food service operations under the leadership and direction of the School Lunch DirectorEnsure systems and operations adhere to all HACCP, DOH, and food safety guidelinesCompletion of financial responsibilities and record keeping in accordance with State and district proceduresExhibit considerable knowledge of the principles of dietetics and nutritionLead and maintain communication and collegial relationships with all Food Service team membersAssign and supervise the activities of Food Service personnelAssign and maintain work schedules and assignmentsSupervise the Food Service Office MonitorTrain Food Service personnelMaintain and prepare NYS and local reportsOther related duties assigned by the School Lunch Director Location: High School Time: 8 Hours Per Day Deadline: June 14, 2024 Effective: August 28, 2024 Application Instructions: Qualified candidates should apply via OLAS or via email with resume and cover letter to personnel@glencoveschools.org
