The Greater Johnstown School District is searching for dynamic individuals for the 2025-2026 school year. The Greater Johnstown School District (GJSD) is seeking a dynamic and visionary educator to serve as the Principal of Knox Middle School, overseeing approximately 340 students in grades 5–7. The chosen candidate will oversee a dedicated team of 50 collaborative and student-centered faculty and support staff, many of whom have long standing tenure within the District. You will work closely with the Director of Curriculum, the Director of Student Engagement, Director of Pupil Personnel Services, and the District’s SEAL Team, an established group of mental health professionals.Knox Middle School boasts a culture of academic excellence, and a strong record of student engagement and achievement. The Knox school community collaborates together to foster a culture of success that is grounded in clear expectations while embracing a restorative approach.The new Knox Middle School Principal should be an effective communicator—both verbal and written—a creative problem solver, and someone who is highly visible at events and actively engaged in the school community.
