The Greene Central School District is seeking a dynamic and innovative educator to serve as its next Director of Special Programs (CSE/CPSE Chair). The selected candidate shall provide educational leadership and supervision to the special education personnel and programs and will ensure that programs are in compliance with all state and federal regulations. Our candidate will develop a close working relationship with building principals. The candidate will be responsible for planning, managing and evaluating programs of attendance, guidance, Special Education, psychological services, speech services, homebound instruction and social services. Assessing the development of department policies and practices consistent with the Federal Law and the Part 200 Regulations of the commissioner governing the education of children with handicapping conditions will be critical. The successful candidate will:? Appropriate NYS Administrative Certificate (Special Education Experience Preferred)?
