The Assistant Bus Dispatcher duties include but are not limited to; dispatching buses to assigned bus pick-up locations; maintaining transportation records; periodically checking driver's licenses; confirming all required physical examinations of drivers is complete; supervising loading and unloading of children on buses. Operation of a school bus, as needed.Must have knowledge of school district geographical area; all bus routes and bus stops; all rules, regulations, and policies related to transportation within the district. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, parents and school staff members.
