Elementary Special Education Teacher (2 Positions) Position Title: Elementary Special Education Teacher Location: Elementary School Position Type: Full-Time Start Date: September 2026 Position Overview We are seeking two dedicated and student-centered Elementary Special Education Teachers to join our team. The successful candidates will provide specialized instruction and support to elementary students with diverse learning needs while collaborating closely with classroom teachers, families, and support staff to ensure student success. Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Provide direct instruction and academic interventions to students with disabilities Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs Participate in CSE meetings and school-based support teams Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Qualifications Valid New York State certification in Special Education Elementary teaching experience preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to inclusive practices and student growth Application Process Interested candidates should submit: Letter of interest Resume Copies of certification(s) Three professional references Applications will be accepted until Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
