This is an anticipated vacancy. The successful candidate will begin on or about September 1st, 2025. This is a full-time probationary teacher appointment leading toward tenure. This teacher position includes providing academic support to students in grades 7-12. This position also works collaboratively with 7-12 Math teachers. Deadline for applications is March 28th. Responsibilities:Challenge and educate students in a classroom settingStrong background and interest in mathematicsAdhere to the established teaching curriculumMaintain positive relationships with students and parentsDocument and share student grades and evaluationsMaintain the health and safety of all studentsCollaborate with math teachers, special educators,and academic intervention service providersQualifications:Strong classroom management skillsAbility to build rapport with students, parents, and staffExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong leadership qualitiesIn accordance with New York State certification requirements for Math Teacher 7-12Certification is preferred, but applicants interested in pursuing certification are also encouraged to applyPreference given to applicants with multiple certifications including special educationApplication deadline is March 28thSalary and Benefits: Competitive and commensurate with experience- As outlined in the most recent GBTA Collective Bargaining Agreement
