This position directs all aspects of District facilities and transportation. The head custodians, maintenance supervisor, senior grounds worker, and transportation supervisor report to this position. The incumbent will direct school building and office cleaning, maintenance and preventative maintenance processes, grounds upkeep and snow removal, and student transportation, thus experience in these areas is required. Construction/project management experience is preferred as the District has had and anticipates additional construction projects in the future.The position is part of the Fulton City School District Administrators' Association and reports to the Chief of Operations and Finance. The incumbent will be classified under NYS Civil Service regulations or be a certificated School District Leader or comparable NYS certificate title. If the incumbent falls within NYS Civil Service regulations it will be required to currently hold the classification or be eligible for consideration by virtue of standing on the NYS Civil Service examination.
