Freeport Public Schools is seeking a Full-time Physical Education/Dance teacher who will join our staff. Qualifying candidates should : Have knowledge of and experience with NYSED Physical Education StandardsImplement engaging lessons that create a positive learning environment for K-12 studentsPromote a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challengedCandidates must posses: ¨ Appropriate NYS certification. Dance Certification or strong background in dance required ¨ Ability to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relations with students, parents, and staff ¨ Understanding of meeting the needs of multicultural students
